2024 events begin at Hagans Croft Equestrian

Dressage league gets underway, including Rising Stars qualifiers

Hagans Croft Equestrian, Bailiesmills, kick-started their events schedule on Saturday, March 2 with a Dressage event. This was an extra special event, as not only did Hagans Croft hold their usual Intro to Medium level classes, they also hosted The Equine Awards Rising Star Qualifiers.

The Rising Star Awards are open to riders from four to 16 years old and is a great encouragement for the younger generation to give dressage a go. With all first and second placings qualifying for the finals, which will be held at Gransha Equestrian Centre, Bangor, later on in the year. Following that, an awards ceremony to be held at The Titanic Belfast on Saturday, October 5.

Hello and welcome to Horse&Field. Our aim is to support local, grass roots equestrian enthusiasts and competitors and keep you all informed of what’s happening in the horsey world, as well as covering all things agricultural. If you haven’t already subscribed you can do so below:

Hagans Croft will be holding more dressage qualifiers in July and also show jumping qualifiers in June and August, therefore there will be plenty more opportunities to qualify for this prestigious event throughout the year.

Next week will see more dressage at Hagans Croft, with additional qualifying classes for those Pony Club riders wishing to qualify for the Spring Championships.
