Lucinda Webb, with her expertise and keen eye for talent, provided invaluable feedback and encouragement to the contestants. Her contribution was pivotal in ensuring a high standard of competition and fair judging across all classes. Riders and spectators alike commended her professionalism and dedication throughout the event.
Meanwhile, in Arena 2, the much-anticipated Cash Back Jumping kicked off with a bang, featuring over 80 riders leaping into action. From the youngest competitors navigating cross-poles to seasoned athletes tackling the challenging larger courses.
Competition now moves to the annual Flexi Eventing Series from Saturday, January 13, which will continue until the end of February, with Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross-Country tracks all on offer across the three arenas at the Meadows. Competitors are reminded that they can pick and mix their classes, and don’t have to compete in all three disciplines to be in with a chance of winning their share of the £1,000, very kindly sponsored by Baileys Horse Feeds. Dressage entries are to be sent to Dora Beacom, whereas Show Jumping and Cross-Country entries will be managed via the Meadows website.
The Meadows Equestrian Centre would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the competitors, their families and their dedicated staff for making this event such a resounding success.
