Arena Eventing and Show jumping go down a treat at Ardnacashel

Pony Club qualifiers add an extra dimension to competition

What a day was had by all at Ardnacashel Equestrian, Comber on Saturday, February 3! Their Arena Eventing and Show jumping competition took place and saw a multitude of combinations take on both courses.

The Pony Club Spring Festival qualifiers ran alongside Ardnacashel’s competition, with six qualifying spots up for grabs in each class from 70cm.

The riders that took part on the day put their best foot forward and all rode with such class, professionalism and enthusiasm - all qualities gained from the Pony Club!

The judges on Saturday were Alice Anderson and Corey Mawhinney, with David Wightman managing the collecting area and arena, while ’Ellas Kitchen’ kept everyone fed and watered. Black Horse Photography NI were in attendance to capture the action.

A massive thank you goes to the two sponsors, TopSpec and Speedy Suds for providing great, useful prizes to the competitors. 

The next qualifying date for Arena Eventing and Show jumping is Saturday, March 2.
