Autumn Festival at Danescroft
Get set for two days of Showing and Working Hunter classes for horses and ponies!
Join the fun this Saturday and Sunday at the Autumn Showing and Working Hunter festival at Danescroft Equestrian Centre, Lisburn. Saturday kicks off with Show Horses and In-hand classes in the morning, followed by Show Ponies taking the spotlight in the afternoon.
Sunday’s Working Hunter classes begin with Horses in the morning and Ponies in the afternoon. Don’t miss out on the fun!
Start time is 10am on each day, with ponies not starting before 12 noon on both days.
Entry fees are: Working Hunter - £15; Showing/In-hand - £12
Judges are: Showing - Julie Donaghy Simpson; In-hand - John Donaghy; Working Hunter - Alex Spencer and Andrew Greer.
Show Horses will NOT be ridden on this occasion and will be expected to ride a prepared show for the judge.
Working Hunter classes will be judged in two phases - a round of jumping, followed by a ridden showpiece and conformation check in front of a second judge. Working Hunter horses will NOT be ridden on this occasion.
