Hello everyone,
Well, it has been another whirlwind week, but this time thankfully in terms of the number of local equestrian activities and the resulting flood of emails, not the weather conditions! By all accounts the two-day Two-phase event at Tyrella last weekend was a great success and even the weather played ball! The Two-phase is always a milestone in the local equestrian calendar, as it means the winter is coming to an end and the spring season is almost here…
Last weekend also saw a variety of other competitions being held, including registered and unregistered show jumping, dressage and Working Hunter - this newsletter is just the first instalment, with another to follow, as everything won’t fit on here. If the competition you are looking for isn’t featured on this newsletter, look out for the next one!

Perfect timing for Jump Cross at Lisbane Farm
With the eventing season proper just around the corner, this weekend is perfect timing for Lisbane Farm, Saintfield to run one of their popular Jump Cross competitions!

Show jumpers brush up on skills at Connell Hill
Connell Hill, Randalstown, saw the tracks set for a 10am start for their Training Show on Saturday, March 8, as cross-pole competitors, Isla Hanna and Sorcha Maher, took the opportunity to brush up on their skills in the indoor arena.
Abbie and 'Lets Go Lucy' in winning form at Hagans Croft
Saturday, March 8 saw the second leg of Hagans Croft’s planned three weeks of dressage days in March. With blue skies and wall to wall sunshine, the day started out with the Intro test and a British Riding Club walk, trot test.

Week two of Ecclesville’s Show jumping League was again very popular, with over 80 entries on the night!
