Buser on course-building duty at Lusk's
Riders face different problems, with classes remaining competitive
Local Swiss horseman Markus Buser took over the course-building duties for the second week of show jumping at Lusk Equestrian to create different problems for the riders.
The 60cm class was again very competitive, with the young and not so young testing their skills. Alex Hemsley and ‘Vinnie’ made it back-to-back wins, taking the top spot from Oscar Williamson and ‘Pebbles’. It was nice to see Vivienne Andrews back out again with the ever-consistent ‘Sarah’s Pebbles’ taking fourth spot.

Hello and welcome to Horse&Field. Our aim is to support local, grass roots equestrian enthusiasts and competitors and keep you all informed of what’s happening in the horsey world, as well as covering all things agricultural. If you haven’t already subscribed you can do so below:
The 70cm, 80cm and 90cm classes were, as usual, the best supported - although the 1m, despite having fewer competitors, provided some very good jumping over the Buser course.
Don’t forget riders must compete in three out of the four weeks to be eligible for the generous prize fund from Karen Connolly of Greenville Electric.
Entries still to Sarah Whiteside, Tel: 07840 117132 for next week, Sunday August 4.
