Busy winter schedule for Strule Valley
Riding Club members look forward to lessons, Christmas show and night out
STRULE Valley Riding Club commence their winter schedule next week, with further show jumping training with William Anderson.
Wednesday, December 13 is the date for the Annual Christmas Show, which is open to everyone, members and non-members, ponies and horses. It is being held at Ecclesville Centre, Fintona, commencing at 7pm with a cross-poles class, followed by 50cm, 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 1 metre. There will be rosettes on offer and all competitors will receive a selection pack!

Members will hang their boots up then for the Annual Christmas meal and night out, which this year is in The Aviary Bar, Omagh, followed by a few weeks off for Christmas and New Year.
2024 commences with a pleasure ride in the Gortin Glens, followed by the Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, January 10. The Dolly Mixture Perpetual Shield will be awarded to the member, who has attended the most riding club lessons/ events throughout the year.
There will be a confidence seminar/talk and flatwork lessons on Sunday, January 28 at the RDA Omagh with Heather Graham, BHS, HSI and Centre 10 Advanced Coach in Sport Psychology.
Mandi King will take members in February for flatwork/ polework training at the RDA Omagh.
