Christmas Fun Day brings smiles to Knockagh View
Festive activities able to go ahead at Greenisland venue
While equestrian events all around the country were being cancelled due to Storm Darragh last Saturday, Knockagh View Equestrian Centre, Greenisland were able to go ahead with some non-equestrian activities, in the form of their Christmas Fun Day.
The day included lots of fun and Christmassy things to do, like face painting, bouncy fun, soft play area, visiting Santa Claus in his grotto, with all the children receiving a present. They even had a Christmas carriage, which brought lots of smiles!

Organisers would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who came and supported the fun day - they hope you all had a great day!
“Thank you to my amazing band of helpers: my mum and dad, John Healy, Lesley and Greg Wilson, Claire Tollerton, Charlotte Welsh, Kelly Kidd, our sponsors and the companies who supplied their services,” said Ruth Logan afterwards.
“A massive thank you to L and M Carriage Driving for an amazing day! This definitely put everyone in the Christmas spirit - what an amazing carriage, horses, elves and, of course, the amazing Mrs Claus! Top class!”
Thanks also go to Fantasy Facepainting NI for doing an amazing job painting everyone’s faces; to Healy’s Haylage for sponsoring the amazing Santa’s grotto, fun house, disco dome, toddlers zone and popcorn machine at the fun day - these were all supplied by Thrills Inflatables and Bouncy Castle Hire, who provided top-class service.
Thank you also to Doh’s Designs for their kind sponsorship - what amazing cards, quotes and lots more on offer; head over and check out what they have. Everyone on the day loved their Christmas cards!
