Competitors take on challenge at Ecclesville

Show jumping league continues with week three being held at Fintona venue

Week three of Ecclesville’s Show jumping League was another great success, with the number of entries staying at almost 80 and competitors enjoying taking on Raymond Caldwell’s challenging courses.

The Show jumping League will continue for the next two Friday evenings, commencing at 6.15pm with a 40cm class, followed by 50cm, 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 1m.

Bob Lee and ‘Teddy’ had a super double clear in the 60cm class at week three of Ecclesville’s show jumping league.

Hello and welcome to Horse&Field. Our aim is to support local, grass roots equestrian enthusiasts and competitors and keep you all informed of what’s happening in the horsey world, as well as covering all things agricultural. If you haven’t already subscribed you can do so below:

Competitors are reminded that the same combination rider / pony must compete in the same class for three out of the four weeks prior to the Final to be eligible for prizes on March 28. This will also be the second opportunity for competitors to put points on the board for the 2025 Super League!
