July sees the National Balmoral Championships return to the Eikon Exhibition Centre
The highly anticipated National Balmoral Championships return from Thursday, July 17 to Sunday, July 20, bringing together the very best of show jumping talent for four days of top-tier competition.
Hosted at the state-of-the-art Eikon Exhibition Centre, this flagship event on the equestrian calendar promises an electrifying atmosphere, a packed schedule of events, and a thrilling £25,000 Premier Grand Prix finale on Sunday.
Riders, horses and spectators alike can look forward to a packed schedule of high-calibre competition, thrilling finals, and the electric atmosphere that has become synonymous with National Balmoral. If you would like to go along as a spectator and enjoy some top-class show jumping, you are welcome to do so and entry is free!
The Championships kick off on Thursday with the Fraser Homes Ulster Grand Prix Series, incorporating The Agria Championship for the Champion Four-Year-Old.
Friday’s programme features the highly competitive Amateur Cup in the morning, followed by the National 1.40m Grand Prix in the afternoon. Simultaneously, Arena 2 will host the Sports Member and Children on Horses Championships.
On Saturday, all eyes turn to the DAFM Studbook Series Qualifiers, setting the stage for Sunday’s climactic finals.
Sunday brings the culmination of the championships, with finals in the DAFM Series, Four-Year-Olds and Amateur classes, before the event concludes in spectacular fashion with the prestigious Premier Grand Prix, offering a £25,000 prize fund.
Entries and the full competition schedule are available via SJI Live, numbers will be capped and entries close on July 10 for Day 1.
