Danescroft to host Young Event Horse Development Day

Lisburn venue looks forward to welcoming stars of the future

Danescroft Equestrian, Lisburn, Co Antrim, is excited to announce that they will be hosting a Young Event Horse Development Day on Saturday, June 7, with a fantastic total prize fund of £6,000.

This is sure to be a fantastic day dedicated to developing the stars of the future!

Classes will include:

Four-Year-Old Young Event Horse

Five-Year-Old Young Event Horse

Six & Seven-Year-Old Young Event Horse

Five-Year-Old Young Event Pony

Six & Seven-Year-Old Young Event Pony

(Please note adults may ride ponies)

The judges on the day will be:

Dressage: Vanda Stewart (FEI 4*)

Jumping: Margaret Creighton and John Tilley

Conformation: Andrew Williams

This will be a brilliant opportunity for young horses and ponies to gain valuable experience in a supportive and educational environment.

These classes are funded by the Breeding Grant Initiative, under National Breeding Services, with thanks to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and delivered by Horse Sport Ireland.

Entries cost £45 per class and close on Friday, May 30 at 4pm.
