Danni is 1.20m 'super star' at Portmore
Registered horse show offers classes from 80cm up to 1.30m
Sunday, April 20 saw the popular registered jumping being held at Portmore Equestrian Centre, Aghalee, with classes offered from 80cm up to 1.30m.
With no takers for the 80cm, it was straight into the 90cm class, followed by the 1m class, with some accurate rounds jumped in each.
The 1.10m class saw a joint win for Jennifer McCurry on board Susan McCurry’s ‘LGS My Echo’ and Ian Moore on his own ‘Triple C’, followed by Danni Jennings on her own ‘Super Star’ in third place.

Danni and ‘Super Star’ went on to take the top spot in the 1.20m class, with Emma Burns on Fran Rowlatt-McCormick’s ‘Mon Ami Alme’ slotting into second and John O'Hagan on Kathryn O'Hagan’s ‘Cafre Scarlett Luxann’ in third.
The 1.30m class saw Samantha Kirk claim the win with her own ‘FSS Indigo’, with Jenny Dunlop taking second and third places on Andrew Dunlop’s ‘Questro Z’ and Judith Dunlop’s ‘Gidion B’ respectively.
Sunday, April 27 will see a Spring Fun Day Training Show being held at Portmore, with classes from cross-poles right up to 1.30m.
