Danni proves a 'Super Star' at Portmore
SJI Horse Show sees competitive classes at Aghalee venue
Portmore Equestrian Centre, Aghalee held another of their popular SJI Horse Shows on Sunday, August 11, with a good turnout across the classes.
Competition stepped up in the 1.10m class, with horse and rider combinations battling it out for placings! Danni Jennings and her own ‘Super Star’ claimed the top spot, ahead of Rebecca Mooney and her own ‘Knockroe Decies Girl’.

Rebecca was in the runner-up position again in the 1.20m class, when this time pipped to the post by Teaghán Eamonn Burns riding Eimear Burns’s ‘Gee Que’.
Meanwhile, in the 1.30m class, Lisa Priestley was on form, winning the class with Penny Campbell’s ‘Corlioni’ and taking third place with her own ‘Derryinver Premier Sarah’. Splitting the two, in second place, was Kirsten Farr with her own Happiness Kwpn.
Portmore hosts another SJI Horse Show this Sunday, August 18, followed by a Summer Fun Day on Sunday, August 25, while Tuesday Training Shows will run on August 20 and 27. The centre will see out the month with a Horse and Pony Training Show on Saturday, August 31.
