Dressage finale at Lusk's

Exciting combinations make their mark in dressage series

Lusk  Equestrian held their final day of Dressage on Sunday, November 26 and saw many of the local Pony Club members compete from walk trot test to novice standard. The children really make it look so easy and there were so many exciting combinations.

The dressage series is the brain child of events director, Sarah Whiteside and, having been running for a number of years each November, it has proved a great success, not only with the Pony Clubs, but with many riders who are not interested in Show jumping, Eventing or Derbies, but are just as excited about a sport that brings them out on Sunday mornings, sometimes when the weather is not nearly so kind.

Thanks again to all the judges, scribes, secretaries, runners, not forgetting Fran Warden - who yet again ensures that classes and competitors run to time - and many congregate in the White Horse Cafe when all is over to discuss the day’s performance.

Jumping again returns to Lusk’s with their Xmas Eventing Derby on Sunday, December 10, as their final event for 2023.
