Northern successes at Dublin 1/2
Local competitors certainly made their mark at the RDS this year!
This year’s Dublin Horse Show saw another impressive performance from northern competitors, who brought home numerous rosettes and winners’ sashes from the prestigious RDS showgrounds.

Multiple local competitors won classes and championships, including Supreme Champion Jamie Smyth on Adrian Hurst’s ‘Tattygare Me Me Me’, Katie Crozier, who won the Lightweight Cob class and championship with Penny McClean’s ‘Penanns Lola May’ and Steven Smith, who won the Five-year-old Young Event Horse class with Jennifer Smith’s ‘You Neek’. Paula Howard’s ‘Tullabeg Hello’ won the Three-year-old filly class in the capable hands of Co Down’s Davy Lyons, while Kenneth and Wendy Bell’s ‘Castleview Farmers Lady’ unnamed colt foal won the Irish Draught colt foal class.
Time has been spent working through the results to identify where each of the placed competitors was from, in order to highlight the northern riders who did well and to bring you photos of as many of them as possible, courtesy of 1st Class Images.
Please note the showing results below are from Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, while Saturday and Sunday’s results will follow.
