This week’s second Horse&Field newsletter instalment brings you some more equestrian reports, results and some local news!
Knockagh View’s Working Hunter league continued on Sunday, March 24th with some very well turned out combinations getting in some pre-show season practice.
Working Hunter was also the order of the day at Ardnacashel, Comber, where constructive feedback from the judge proved valuable to competitors.
Meanwhile, ILDRA have held a couple of rides during March, with a damp day at Castle Ward Estate being followed by a day of very pleasant riding conditions at Baronscourt!
The Meadows Equestrian Centre, Lurgan has had a busy schedule lately; they held registered horse and pony jumping on March 16, followed by a very popular St Patrick’s Day inter-schools’ competition on March 17.

On the national stage, new results from a survey have highlighted compassion and devotion to senior equines.
And, in local news, Hinch Irish Whiskey has secured two prestigious titles at this year's World Whiskies Awards!
