Electric league finals at Lusk’s

Competitors set out to win generous prize money sponsored by Greenville

The Greenville-sponsored Show jumping finals at Lusk Equestrian, Carr, Lisburn, were electric both in name and in terms of excitement.

From the outset of the 60cm class, the riders set off with a will to win the generous Greenville money.

Imogen Gray and ‘Troy’ won the 1m class each week and won the 1m league at Lusk’s.

Stabled at Lusk’s Livery, Oscar Williams and ‘Pebbles’ has been consistent throughout the league and confirmed his form in the finals, winning in front of Caelan Greeves on ‘Sam’, whose sister Amira rode ‘Sam’ to the top spot in the 70cm class.

Leanne McNamara on ‘Homer’ had a double, winning both the 80cm and 90cm classes to take home a good handful of the Greenville sponsorship. Meanwhile, Imogen Gray won the 1m final to cap off four weeks of super jumping by her.

The next big event at Lusk’s is their Two- and Three-phase event on August 25, with a go as you please on the Bank Holiday Monday, August 26 from 10am until 5pm.

Class 1 - 60cm:

Class 2 - 70cm:

1) Amira Greeves, Sam; 2) Callie Patterson, Indie; 3) Kate Green, Toffeepops; 4) Hannah Trimble, Lola; 5) Zara Trimble, Mighty Meeko; 6) Lucy Knox, Kitty.

Class 3 - 80cm:

1) Sophie Lindsay, Jude; 2) Ellen Cousins, Paddy; 3) Kate Green, Toffeepops; 4) Jessica Perry, Vinchy; 5) Charlie Black, Oscar; 6) June Burgess, Max.

Ellen Cousins and ‘Paddy’ came second in the 80cm class at the final and were placed third in the 80cm league at Lusk’s.

Class 4 - 90cm:
