Enjoyable day at Hazeldene Arena Event
Technical track asks lots of questions of horses and riders
Saturday, September 23 was a very enjoyable day all round at Hazeldene Farm, Ballynahinch, as they held an Arena Event! Andrew designed a long and technical track of 20 fences, which asked lots of questions and kept both horse and rider having to think and react quickly to the challenges!
Hello and welcome to Horse&Field. Our aim is to support local, grass roots equestrian enthusiasts and competitors and keep you all informed of what’s happening in the horsey world, as well as covering all things agricultural. If you haven’t already subscribed you can do so below:
The day ran very smoothly, with a fun relaxing atmosphere and the weather stayed dry, which is always a plus!
Huge thanks to all the volunteers today, seeing 80 riders through the competition - Laura and Andrew love you all.
Organisers plan to run the same competition next Sunday, so there will be plenty of opportunity to get a spin round this course again.
