Excitement as Mossvale show jumping season begins!
Autumn/ Winter schedule get underway at Dromara venue
There will be great excitement around Co Down, as the Friday night show jumping at Mossvale has got underway for the Autumn/ Winter season!
Thursday nights will host classes for Horses and Ponies from 60cm up, while Friday Pony Jumping runs from cross-poles up to 80cm. Both nights run from 7pm.
Thursday night jumping will see a cup being presented at the end of the month for the 70cm class. Qualifiers will be held on October 3, 10 and 17, with the final being held on Thursday, October 24. Competitors should jump on one night prior to the final to qualify and can jump any height to qualify, but must jump 70cm at the final.
Meanwhile, there will also be cups up for grabs at the Friday night pony jumping! There will be cups for cross-poles, 40cm, 50cm, 60cm and 70cm. Qualifiers will be held on October 4, 11 and 18, with the final being held on Friday, October 25. Again, competitors should jump on one night prior to the final to qualify, but this time, they must jump the same height at the qualifiers and the final.
Everyone is very welcome - entries on the night. The stove will be lit in the canteen, hot food and drinks served also.
