As promised, here is an extra newsletter to bring you back up to date with everything that’s been happening in the local equestrian world! There is a lot going on, with numerous qualifiers currently underway, alongside the usual busy schedule of activity that we have become used to.

A busy weekend commenced the 2025 competition season for the Meadows Equestrian Centre, following their successful running of the Eventing Ireland Flexi Eventing Series.

The second week of the Paul Johnston Mid-week Memorial League was held at Knockagh View, Greenisland on Wednesday, March 5.
Balmoral Show judges announced for 2025
The Royal Ulster Agricultural Society is delighted to announce a wealth of respected and prestigious judges ahead of the 156th Balmoral Show, in partnership with Ulster Bank.
Strule Valley club gets set for Annual Dressage Show
Strule Valley Riding Club are holding their Annual Dressage Show at the RDA, Arvalee, Omagh on Sunday, March 23, 2025 to celebrate 28 years.

NEF Sir Colin Spedding Award winner announced
Di Arbuthnot, the former Chief Executive of the charity Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) was announced as the winner of the Sir Colin Spedding Award at the National Equine Forum (NEF) on Thursday, March 6, 2025. The award was given in recognition of Di’s dedication to racehorse welfare.
