Fantastic St Patrick's Day Derby at Danescroft
Testing but flowing courses challenge competitors, out to win some super prizes
It was Derby Day at Danescroft Equestrian, Lisburn, on Saturday, March 15 and what a fantastic day it was! The sun shone all day and Helen Worthington of Worthington Chiropractic very kindly sponsored the event, giving prizes from first to sixth in every class and the winner of each class received a beautifully embroidered rug.
The riders were presented with a testing but flowing course, with all clears jumping off against the clock to finalise the placings.
Alongside Danescroft’s own competition, the centre had Pony Club members trying to qualify for the last few places in the Barrier Spring Festival Championships.
