Festival Gymkhana sure to be a great day out
Mid Antrim Pony Club looks forward to hosting the Festival Gymkhana, part of the Randalstown Arches Festival, at Dunmore Park, Randalstown on Saturday, June 21
Mid Antrim branch of the Pony Club is looking forward to hosting the Festival Gymkhana, as part of the Randalstown Arches Festival, at Dunmore Park, Randalstown on Saturday, June 21.
There will be pony show jumping classes from cross-poles up to 90cm, plus a pairs class for ponies up to 14.2hh, at a maximum height of 80cm. Horse show jumping will run from cross-poles up to 1m, with the addition of a Top Score class, where fence heights will be between 70cm and 90cm.

Working Hunter classes will cater for horses and ponies, who will jump together, but will be judged separately. Class heights will be 70cm, 85cm and 95cm; there will also be a Horse Championship and a Pony Championship.
There is a full range of ridden Horse Showing classes on the schedule, including weight classes, smalls, cobs, riding horses and coloured horse, as well as a Horse Championship and Cob Championship.
Riding classes for ponies will cater for Lead Rein, Family Pony and Ridden Show Pony, followed by a Pony Championship.
Perpetual Challenge Trophies are on offer across the classes, subject to minimum entry requirements.
Randalstown Arches Association Limited and the Mid Antrim Branch of the Pony Club are indebted to Shane’s Castle Estate for the use of Dunmore Park for the festival show. Sincere thanks also go to all the judges and stewards for their continued support, as well as to all those who have helped to organise and set up the day, to all participants and the sponsors, Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary and Mid Antrim Branch of the Pony Club.
With such a super venue, a great selection of classes and silverware up for grabs, the Festival Gymkhana is sure to be a great day out! Entries will be taken on the day.
