Fierce competition as Meadows' Inter-Schools' final approaches
Dromore High School had a great day, winning four classes
Saturday, November 9 saw week five of the Inter-Schools’ show jumping league at The Meadows Equestrian Centre, Lurgan. Competition was fierce, as the final of the league approaches!
Pippa Leathem and ‘Flash Harry’ representing Meadowbridge Primary took the top spot in the Primary Individual 50cm class, while The Saddle Sisters won the team class. The Primary 60cm class went to Eboni Rutledge on ‘Cindy’ for Cumran Primary, with the Primary Teams 65cm class going to the Born To Ride team. Harry Hannaway rode ‘Hippo for Our Lady's Primary School to take the red ribbon in the Primary Individual 70cm class.

Moving on to the Secondary school classes, Katelyn Thompson on ‘Crackerjack’ started a winning streak for Dromore High School, when she won the Individual 75cm class, with Friends’ School winning the Team class.
Jack Cowan on ‘Buddy’ (Lurgan College) won the Novice Individual 85cm class, with the Team class going to Dromore High Blues. Sophia Bingham on ‘Moorepark Alamo’, representing Cambridge House, won the Open Individual 1m class, while Dromore High School won the Open Team 1m class.
Taylor McKnight on ‘Indie’ took yet another win for Dromore High School in the Premier Open 1.10m class.
The scene is set for a nail-biting finale on Saturday, November 23!
