First-class equestrian competition continues
Reports, results, pictures and news from local horse and pony activities
Hi folks,
The momentum of first-class equestrian competition continues this weekend, with the Northern Ireland Festival being held in Cavan and Ballindenisk International Event in Cork. Meanwhile, among the activities closer to home, The Meadows hosted their Spring Championships, Lisbane Farm held a two- and three-phase event and there has been show jumping at Portmore and at Lusk’s. It is great to have such a fantastic choice of activities on our doorstep!
This week’s Horse&Field ‘Straight from the horse’s mouth’ podcast is a chat with Kyle Hayes of Aldertree Equine in Co Fermanagh about a charity show that he and his wife Samantha are organising for next Saturday, May 4 at Castle Irvine, Necarne - if you haven’t already heard it, you can listen here:
This Horse&Field newsletter brings you more reports, results and pictures from last weekend, as well as information on forthcoming competitions and some local news!
More details on these and more are available by clicking on the stories or visiting Horse&Field and having a scroll through - there are now over 600 articles to choose from, with a search facility to find what you wish to read!
The Horse&Field calendar lists local equine activities and is updated on a daily basis. We are trying to make the calendar as comprehensive as possible and it currently lists shows and events right up until the end of the year, so if you know of any events that aren’t yet listed, please let us know!
To new subscribers, welcome! You will receive this newsletter twice each week, as well as occasional emails in between - we want to keep you informed, but do not want to overload your inbox!
