Gala Dressage Show at Castle Irvine
Dressage at Home and International gets set for a wonderful weekend
Dressage at Home and International may be better known for their online platform, where competitors video their dressage tests and send them in to be judged, but the company recognises that sometimes it is nice to go to a show, ride a test in front of a judge in real time and mingle with like-minded horsey people… Especially when the venue is Castle Irvine, Necarne!
Emma Hobson’s brainchild during Covid lockdown, when competitions weren’t happening and she wanted to give riders the opportunity to compete, has expanded to include live shows and residential camps.
The first camp went down a treat, so Emma organised a second one, which is being held at Necarne on Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5, culminating with a Gala Dressage Show on Sunday, October 6, which is open to all.
As always, there are a huge number of classes to choose from, 27 in all, from Lead Rein up to Advanced Medium, with specific classes to suit Racehorse to Riding Horses, Veterans, Young Horses and Cobs, as well as Freestyle to Music classes from Intro to Medium level!
Entries are currently open at www.dressageathome.com/shop and close on Sunday, September 29 at midnight.
Tests are also available from the website.
