Get set for Tamniarn Annual Charity Gymkhana

Fun day planned, with show jumping for horses and ponies and pony games

Tamniarn Annual Charity Gymkhana is planned to be held at Hillhead Road, Castledawson on Saturday, June 28 at 11am.

Forever known as ‘Hughie’s show’, it is continuing to be run in his memory. There will be one jumping ring in operation, with classes from fledglings to 1 metre. Horses and ponies will jump together and perpetual silver cups will be presented to the highest placed horse and pony in each class.

Pony games are planned for midday, all games are at a walk and ponies must be led, with prizes for all. There will be separate practice rings for horses and ponies, with the emphasis of the day being fun!

Proceeds will go to Marie Curie and Castlehill Residential Home residents entertainment fund, as usual.
