Girl power to the fore at the Meadows

SJI Autumn Horse Series runs alongside unregistered winter league

The SJI Autumn Horse Series continued at The Meadows Equestrian Centre, Lurgan last Saturday, October 26, alongside the unregistered winter league.

There was a good turnout in the registered classes, with many combinations jumping double clear. It was a case of girl power in the placed classes, with the top spot in the 1.10m class going to Pippa Moore on her mum Lorna’s ‘GSS Mircino’, ahead of Chloe Graham riding Wendy Anderson’s ‘KEC Lanz’ in second.

The 1.20m class was won by Cara McFadden riding McFadden Equine’s Orville Jack, followed by Amy McCormick on board Stephen McCormick’s ‘GSS Macey Grey’. Meanwhile, Anita Doherty rode her own ‘Goldiva’ to win the 1.30m class, with Markus Buser and his own ‘Kesha’ breaking the female run of form to take the runner-up spot.
