Northern Ireland Riding Clubs held their Show jumping Championships on Sunday, May 11. Members from all over Northern Ireland travelled to Knockagh View Equestrian Centre in Greenisland to take part. There was glorious sunshine all day and everyone had a great day.
The 60cm Individual class was won by Ebhlin McConville on ‘Molly’, representing Kilkeel and District, which began the club's domination on the day. Lesley Wilson rode ‘Lyleview Martell’ for Ballycorr to win the 70cm Individual Senior class, with Janine Austin on ‘Little Black Beauty’ representing Six Mile Water in second place. Meanwhile, in the Junior section, Rachel Stranney and ‘AJ’ took the top spot for Mossvale, followed by Arianna McKee on ‘Calla Lilly’, another Kilkeel and District member in second.

In the Mixed Teams event, Kilkeel and District claimed an astonishing four of the top five places, only interrupted by the Craigantlet team in third.

NI Liaison Committee would like to thank Ruth and Scott Logan for the use of their excellent facilities; David and Sylvia Nicholl for building a lovely course; Heather and Lara Camlin for judging; Ellie Johnston for the photographs; JC in the Café, who kept everyone fed and watered all day and to everyone else who helped out during the day - without this help, organisers could not run these events. A big well done to everyone who competed.
