Here we are with another Horse&Field newsletter, bringing you the latest local results, as well as diary dates and previews of forthcoming shows.

Busy times ahead in the horsey world
The month of August will bring plenty of choice for equine related places to go, with Dublin Horse Show taking place from August 9 to 13, while a bit closer to home, Downpatrick Racecourse will host TWO Fashion Fixtures, with Music and Style Sunday on Sunday, August 13, followed by Ladies Day on Bank Holiday Monday, August 28.
In the meantime, there is lots going on this coming weekend, so be sure to have a look at the Horse&Field calendar!
In the news
The Northern Region of Eventing Ireland had another treat at the weekend, as the team at Tullymurry pulled out all the stops to host a second event on Saturday.
Meanwhile, entries may have been limited due to weather conditions, but County Londonderry Agricultural Show went ahead as planned and competitors had a great day out!
There is much equine excitement in the greater Lisburn area, as Danescroft is once again hosting competitions; the latest being Combined Training, which proved very popular. Competitors went to great effort with their turnout and the sportsmanship between them all was lovely to see - a great day was had by all!
Kernan Equestrian Centre in Crossmaglen held a seven-week show jumping league, which concluded with their final last Friday. There were lots of smiles, as the winning combinations received their prizes!
Always popular with spectators and competitors alike, Dublin Horse Show has been launched and will take place from August 9 to 13.
