IPS Northern Area looks forward to a fantastic day of showing
Gransha Equestrian Centre is the venue for a comprehensive schedule of 70 classes
IPS (Irish Pony Society) Northern Area are looking forward to a fantastic day’s showing at Gransha Equestrian Centre, Bangor, on Saturday, August 10.
The schedule caters for everyone, with newcomer classes for those just getting started with showing. Organisers welcome both members and non-members to the show!
They are thrilled to have along the following expert eyes to judge the various sections:
Mrs Rachel Mulgrew - Jumping section of working hunter
Mrs Anne Gomes - Flat section of working hunter
Mrs Alex Spencer - Ring 2 - flat ridden
Mrs Sharon Walsh - Ring 3 - in-hand and ridden classes
Organisers have to give thanks to the sponsors and their generosity, allowing the to provide competitors with a beautiful selection of rosettes and sashes. A special mention must go to the main supreme championship sponsors, Barberstown Castle and Glenallen Homes.
In-hand competitors also have the opportunity to qualify for the IPS Breeders’ Grant Final, which will take place at their championship show in September in Mullingar. At the final, each section will have a prize fund of €200.
Pre-entries close on Thursday, July 8 at midnight. Entries may be made on the day at an increased rate of £20 per class.
