Jackson run of form continues at The Meadows

Emma Jackson and ‘Rockrimmon Legacy’ won the 1.30m SJI class at Lurgan venue

The Spring/ Summer Horse Show series continued at The Meadows Equestrian Centre in Lurgan on Saturday, June 21, with registered horse classes running from 80cm up to 1.30m.

Emma Jackson is on a roll at the moment and she took the 1.30m honours with Roy Shields’s ‘Rockrimmon Legacy’, ahead of Lucy Hanna on her own ‘Rock Biltmore’ in second and Amy McCormick on Stephen McCormick’s ‘GSS Macey Grey’ in third.

Amy and ‘GSS Macey Grey’ were also runners-up in the 1.20m class, behind class winner Markus Buser on his own ‘Kesha’, while Gary Martin Close rode his own ‘Blaney Buffet’ into third place.

In the 1.10m class, the win went to Aidan Bell on his own ‘MCLC Creevagh Lady’, with John Jordan placing second on board Sean Jordan’s ‘SJ Cornet Og’. Emma Jackson was back in the ribbons when she was third with Jackie Short’s ‘Moscovitz Sb’.

There were 13 combinations, who jumped double clear in the 1m class, while in the 90cm class, Carmel Conroy and ‘Kilarn PG’ were the only horse and rider to keep all the fences intact. There were no entries for the 80cm class on this occasion.
