Kathryn takes the win at Connell Hill SJI Spring League show

Good entries led to plenty of clear rounds at the Randalstown venue

Connell Hill held another round of their SJI Spring League on Thursday, March 27, with classes from 80cm up to 1.30m.

There were good entries in the 80cm, 90cm and 1m classes, with plenty of clear rounds being jumped to share the win. In the 1.10m class, the boys came to the fore, with Ian Moore taking the top spot with his own ‘Pinecroft Galaxy’; with Ryan Williamson next best on Stephanie Williamson’s ‘Quam-Quami de Rialfo’ in second and Kevin Mackey placing third with Alyson Henry’s ‘Smalltown Boy IV’.

The 1.20m class saw the girls take the top two placings, with Kathryn Morton winning on board Joanne Morton’s ‘Blueoak Zorro’ and Lesley Jones taking the runner-up spot on Yvonne Pearson’s ‘Quality Choice’. Edward Little rode his own and Jane Russell’s ‘AKD Carnlea Blue’ into third.

Ian Moore and ‘Pinecroft Galaxy’ won the 1.10m class at Connell Hill’s SJI Spring League show.

The SJI Spring League continues at Connell Hill this coming Thursday, with entries available through SJI Live.
