Katie does the double at The Meadows

Katie Scott won both the 1.10m and 1.20m SJI classes at Lurgan venue

The SJI Autumn Horse Series continued at the Meadows Equestrian Centre, Lurgan on Saturday, November 2, alongside the unregistered Hallowe’en Show, with a great turnout and some very talented combinations showing their class.

It was Katie Scott’s day in the registered classes, as she did the double, winning the 1.10m class with Stephen Lowry’s Dullerton Gin Fizz and then also claiming the 1.20m class on board Elizabeth Hermans’s ‘Loughehoe Rebel’.

The 1.30m class was won by Cara McFadden riding McFadden Equine’s ‘Orville Jack’, closely followed by Markus Buser on his own ‘Kesha’.

Competitions are ongoing at the Meadows, with registered and unregistered shows, as well as the popular inter-schools’ show jumping on the schedule in the coming weeks.
