Lend a hand at Ireland’s premier horse riding event
Volunteers and stewards required for St Patrick's Coast Endurance Ride
Are you or someone you know free on Saturday, September 7?
Do you enjoy being outdoors in the fresh air for a few hours?
Would you like to be well-fed with breakfast, lunch and dinner and receive complimentary race day tickets for Downpatrick racecourse?

If so, then St. Patrick’s Coast Endurance Ride is the place for you!
St. Patrick’s Coast Endurance Ride is Ireland’s premier horse riding event, offering horse riders the opportunity to experience some of the breath-taking countryside that Co. Down has to offer. This event takes place over several miles of the countryside, thanks to the kindness of over 40 landowners and farmers, who allow the route to traverse their land. However, to ensure the safety of the horses and riders taking part, organisers urgently need volunteers and stewards to assist at some of the road crossings.
Safe off-road riding is a rarity in Northern Ireland, due to our lack of bridleways and allowing riders the opportunity to experience a ride like St Patrick’s Coast simply wouldn’t happen without the vital work of road stewards and volunteers.

You do not need to be horsey to help out and you will be given full information on what is required.
Organisers would greatly appreciate your support and you will be well thanked for your time and efforts.
You will receive snacks and lunch, as well as an invitation to the annual awards dinner, which takes place on the night (and a plus-one ticket), with food being provided by Rosemount Cottage Meats this year.
You will also receive complimentary race day tickets for Downpatrick racecourse for yourself and one other.
