Mackey is the main man at Connell Hill

SJI Summer League continues at Randalstown venue

Connell Hill Equestrian Centre, Randalstown, held another leg of their SJI Summer League on Thursday, August 29.

Kevin Mackey was definitely the man of the moment, as he won the 1.10m, 1.20m and 1.30m classes! He claimed the top spot in the 1.10m class with Hollie Williamson’s ‘Annyalla Ferro’, ahead of Helen Pearson-Murray with her own It's Partytime Coco in second; Helen also took third place with her own ‘Pinecroft Luna’.

Mackey’s success in the 1.20m class was on board Gerard McMullan’s ‘Val De Mazeroy’. He was followed by Sarah Bailie on her own ‘Lisnamorrows Vancouver’ in second place and Lucy Hanna and her own ‘Rock Biltmore’ in third.

It was a one-two for Mackey in the 1.30m class, taking first place with Gerard McMullan’s ‘Edelboy Vd Renger’ and second with ‘Val De Mazeroy’ for the same owner.

Nicky Nesbitt and ‘Kinetic Blue’ competing in the 90cm class at Connell Hill’s SJI Summer Horse League.
