With the weather being so unpredictable, it was great to see such a good turnout at Connell Hill Equestrian Centre, Randalstown on Thursday, August 3 for the latest leg of their SJI Summer League.
Competitors were not disappointed with either that or the very inviting course built by Will Crean. With classes ranging from 80cm to 1.30m, there was something for all abilities and age of horse. This league will continue on through August and September and entry can be done before 6pm the night before on the SJI live website.
Zoey Horner and her ‘Kensington Ballyherrin Revel’ jumped a lovely double clear in the 80cm, while Kevin Mackey was on great form and took the red ribbon in the 1.20m class on ‘Val De Mazeroy’, followed by the top spot in the 1.30m class on ‘Edelboy VD Renger’!
