Summer Horse League continues at Randalstown venue

With the SJI Summer Horse League at Connell Hill Equestrian Centre, Randalstown, continuing every Thursday, all competitors on Thursday, August 24 enjoyed the opportunity to jump a great course built by Will Crean.

The weather was kind until the last class, where Kevin Mackey took the red ribbon on ‘Edelboy VD Renger’.

Rebecca Knox and ‘Blossomhill Perfection’ came second in the 1.10m and first in the 1.20m class.

The 80cm class gives those with new and young horses a chance to get that all important practice under show conditions, with Sarah Baillie having a double clear on her new four-year-old ‘Lisnamorrow Van de Kluiebos’.

These shows will continue through September, with online entry available on the SJI Live website.

Ben Walsh and ‘Murango’ were runners up in the 1.20m class.
