New classes for Limavady Show

Veteran horse and pony ridden classes and cross-jump classes added to schedule

Limavady Agricultural Show takes place on Saturday, July 20 at Aghanloo Road, Limavady. The Light Horse and Pony Section includes a great selection of showing classes, with Youngstock In-hand classes, Ridden Hunter classes, Ponies In-Hand, Ridden Pony and Family Pony classes.

There are two new ridden classes for this year, namely Class 22 Veteran Horse aged over 15 and Class 23 Veteran Pony aged over 15.

For those who prefer a bit of jumping, new cross-jump classes are being introduced this year, starting around 12 noon with classes at 60cm, 80cm and 1m, followed by unregistered show jumping classes at around 2pm, running from cross-poles up to 1m. Jumping classes will cater for both horses and ponies

Entries will be taken on the day.

2023 winners are reminded to return any cups on show day.
