New innovation from ILDRA and Baileys
A bag of feed or other Baileys product for one random winner at selected ILDRA rides in 2024
ILDRA (the Irish Long Distance Riding Association) has teamed up with Judy Maxwell and Baileys Horse Feeds to offer a bag of feed or other Baileys product to one random winner at selected ILDRA rides in 2024.
The winner will be selected at random from all entries (Competitive and Pleasure), once the entries close and the prize will be awarded at the ride to the lucky winner.
Hello and welcome to Horse&Field. Our aim is to support local, grass roots equestrian enthusiasts and competitors and keep you all informed of what’s happening in the horsey world, as well as covering all things agricultural. If you haven’t already subscribed you can do so below:
This all kicked off at the weekend at Shane’s Castle, which was to be the first ILDRA Pleasure Ride of 2024, when the winner received a bag of Baileys Meadow Sweet.
The winner, selected at random, for the first ride of 2024 was:
Olivia Cowan - congratulations, Olivia!
As it turned out, Sunday’s ride had to be postponed due to the weather conditions, but some very keen riders had made their way through the freezing fog and black ice to get to Shane’s Castle, one of whom was Olivia, so she was able to collect her prize!
ILDRA would like to thank Judy and Baileys for this great support in 2024!

ILDRA hopes to be able to reschedule the Shane’s Castle ride and a date will be announced in due course. Watch this space!
**UPDATE: ILDRA has been able to secure a replacement date of Sunday, January 21 for the postponed Shane’s Castle ride - entries will be automatically transferred to this date UNLESS you are unable to attend and would like a credit or refund on your entry fee.**
