Pony Club Area 17 Show jumping
Hello and welcome to Horse&Field. Our aim is to support local, grass roots equestrian enthusiasts and competitors and keep you all informed of what’s happening in the horsey world, as well as covering all things agricultural. If you haven’t already subscribed you can do so below:
The Area 17 Show jumping competition was hosted by the East Antrim Branch at The Meadows, Lurgan on July 21.

Area competitions are where Pony Club members compete to try to qualify for The Pony Club Championships. There is a competition held in each of the 19 Pony Club Areas and there are various levels to compete at, based on ability and eligibility: PC70 (Regional Championships); PC80 (Regional Championships); PC90; Open PC90; PC100 and PC110.
There were lots of talented ponies and riders in attendance and Tori O’Connor has kindly provided some photos of a few of the winning combinations!
