Red ribbons for Emma at Connell Hill
Emma Jackson and 'Kylestone Cashel' won the 1.20m and 1.30m classes at the Randalstown venue
Registered show jumping competitors made their way to Randalstown last Thursday, for another leg of the SJI Horse Summer League at Connell Hill Equestrian Centre.
It was Emma Jackson’s day, as she steered her own very talented 12-year-old stallion ‘Kylestone Cashel’ to win both the 1.20m and 1.30m classes, making her journey from Co Down worthwhile!

The runner-up spot in the 1.30m class went to Shane McCloskey on board Mindaugas Milius’s ‘Panache Am’, while Emma Jackson was back in the line-up in third riding Roy Shields’s ‘Rockrimmon Legacy’.
In the 1.20m class, Kevin Mackey rode Alyson Henry’s ‘Smalltown Boy IV’ into second place, followed by Jodie Creighton on Robbie Topping’s ‘Triple G’ in third.
Mackey and ‘Smalltown Boy IV’ had already won the 1.10m class, ahead of Ian Moore, who showed his consistency yet again placing second and third with his own ‘Pinecroft Galaxy’ and ‘Pinecroft Lamiro’ respectively.

A very impressive 18 combinations jumped clear to share the win in the 1m class, while six clears shared success in the 90cm class. There were no takers for the 80cm class on this occasion.
The SJI Horse Summer League continues at Connell Hill this Thursday, June 26. Entries should be made via SJI Live.
