Saintfield students secure Balmoral Schools' qualifier at The Meadows
St Patrick’s Inter-schools’ show jumping sees some great competition
Continuing with their busy weekend schedule, the Meadows Equestrian Centre, Lurgan hosted their now annual St Patrick’s Inter-schools’ show jumping competition on Sunday, March 16.
Classes ran from Primary Individual 50cm, won by Lottie Coombs on ‘Bobby’ representing Ballytrea Primary School, right up to Premier Open Individual 1.10m, won by Pippa Moore on ‘Scoobie Bee’ representing Wallace High School.
The Primary Teams 50cm class went to the team from Toreagh Primary School, while the Novice Teams 85cm class was won by Banbridge High School High Flyers.

Much to the excitement of the competitors, the schedule included an RUAS Balmoral Show Open Teams 1m Qualifier, which was won by Saintfield High School, followed by Dromore High School in second and Royal School Armagh in third.
Well done to everyone who competed on the day and very best wishes to those who have secured their place to compete at Balmoral Show in May!
