Shloer show jumping league kicks off at Danescroft
Great turnout of competitors take on a challenging yet encouraging course
An incredible day was had by all at the opening leg of the Shloer Show jumping League at Danescroft Equestrian, just outside Lisburn on Sunday, September 8.
There was a grand total of 140 combinations that took on the track. A challenging, yet encouraging course was set to allow for a competitive and educational day, including an optional water tray for less experienced combinations.

Week two of the league is being held this coming Sunday, September 22, starting at 10am sharp and entries are now open!
Classes are 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm, 1m and 1.10m, with entry fee £15 per class, to be paid on the day. Times will be posted by 5.30pm on Saturday evening.
Prizes worth £3,000 are on offer across the league, so competitors are in for a real treat, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Shloer.
There will be weekly prizes for first to sixth places in all classes, as well as league prizes for first to sixth at the final, including rugs for the winners!
There will also be spot prizes each week for riders showing determination and horsemanship and fancy dress prizes for ALL competitors in the fancy dress class at the Spooktacular Final!
Note: The same rider and horse combination must compete at a total of three weeks, including the final to be eligible for any league prizes.

Danescroft is also holding a Showing and Working Hunter Autumn Festival, with Showing and In-hand classes on Saturday, September 28, followed by Working Hunter classes on Sunday, September 29.
