Show jumping talent at The Meadows
Classes to suit both SJI horses and Cash Back Unregistered combinations
Talented combinations were out in force at The Meadows Equestrian Centre, Lurgan on Saturday, as the venue held both their SJI Summer Series as well as Cash Back Unregistered show jumping, with classes to suit all levels of competitor.
In the 1.10m SJI class, Robert McKee took the win with his own ‘Lady of Honour’, ahead of Rebecca Mooney and her own ‘Knockroe Decies Girl’, while the 1.20m class saw Katie Orr finish first with her own ‘Just Querelle Van de Wagenheide’, followed by Lucy Hanna and her own ‘Rock Storm’ in second.

Dylan Ward claimed the top spot in the 1.30m class with Quality Sport Horses’ ‘Stromboli Der Dolen’, with Ellie Humphries taking both second and third places with Toni Quail’s ‘Ringfort Rua’ and Allison Mercer’s ‘Jalandra’ respectively.
The 1.35m class had fewer entries, but that didn’t deter Eve Donnelly, who rode a foot-perfect round to win with Francis Donnelly’s ‘Tolan Felicity’.
