Solid competition at Danescroft league
Week three of indoor show jumping league saw good entries at Lisburn venue
Week three of the Danescroft Indoor Show jumping League saw another solid day of competition on Sunday, January 25, with good entries and even better jumping across all classes. The show was judged by Vanda Stewart, whose timing skills and eye were put to work to judge multiple competitive classes.
Sophia Montgomery and ‘Freddie’ started the day well, with a confident clear round in the cross-poles class, while Antonia Law produced a strong performance in the 80cm class with her grey Connemara gelding ‘Smokie’.

The Indoor Show jumping League moves into its next week with plenty still to play for.

Great coverage of the league. Katie Creegan's double win in the 90cm and 100cm classes is impressive, consistently clearing both heights shows real partnership with Holiday Izzy. The grassroots format of these indoor leagues is so important for developing riders, espcially during winter when outdoor competiton is limited. Nice to see strong turnout across all the classes.
