Spooky conclusion to Shloer league at Danescroft

Great turnout for Hallowe'en Show as league draws to a close

A super day was had by all at Danescroft Equestrian, Lisburn, for the final of their Shloer Show jumping League. The excitement was well and truly made by the fact it was a Hallowe’en special… There was a spooky feel from the moment competitors came through the gate, with Mr Cough (the skeleton) there to greet everyone!

The course was decorated with pumpkins and cobwebs, skeletons and spiders, and even a few severed hands, which provided plenty for riders to think about…

Competitors were in the zone and put in solid performances in all seven classes.

This coming weekend sees another Showing and Working Hunter weekend being held at Danescroft, with horses on Saturday and ponies on Sunday - entries are open until 1pm on Friday, November 1.
