Spring Horse Show challenges at The Meadows
Young Horses and registered competitors take on courses at Lurgan venue
The Meadows Equestrian Centre, Lurgan held their Spring Horse Show and Young Horse Challenge on Saturday, April 5, with classes from 80cm up to 1.30m.
The 90cm class doubled up as the Four-year-old Young Horse Challenge and saw a number of double clear rounds, while the 1m class included the A Amateurs as well as the Five-year-old Young Horse Challenge, with a total of 14 competitors sharing the win.

The 1.10m class included the AA Amateurs and the Six-year-old Young Horse Challenge, with Émer Magee riding her own ‘Killelton Ford’ into first place, followed by Ellie McDowell on board Colin McDowell’s ‘Vanderbitt’ in second.
Emma Jackson took the win in the 1.20m class and Seven-year-old Young Horse Challenge riding her own ‘Kylestone Cashel’, with Megan Nelson on her own ‘Fancy Trend’ taking the runner-up spot.

The boys took charge of the 1.30m class, with John McEntee riding his own and Greenvale Transport’s ‘Hobalo’ into the top spot, with Alfie Adair on David Conlon’s ‘Tullyneagh’ settling for second place.
