Strule Valley members excel at NIRC Dressage Championships
Long journey worthwhile for Co Tyrone girls
Two Strule Valley Riding Club members travelled to Knockagh View Equestrian Centre, on the outskirts of Greenisland, near to Carrickfergus at the weekend for the Northern Ireland Riding Clubs’ Dressage Championships.
Gillian Hynes and ‘What’s the Craic Jack’ and Eimear Watson and ‘Gaurlin Lady’ competed for Strule Valley Riding Club, gaining exceptional results in what weren’t the best weather conditions!

Gillian and ‘What’s the Craic Jack’ rode in British Dressage Intro C and won their class, going one place better than last year when they came second. Eimear Watson and ‘Gaurlin Lady’ made their debut at the Northern Ireland Riding Clubs Dressage Championships, competed in British Dressage Preliminary 18 and took a creditable second place.
Very well done to both partnerships!
