Successful Hallowe’en Show for Ecclesville

Competitors get into the spirit of things in Fintona

The Ecclesville team were delighted with the turnout of competitors for their Hallowe’en Show on Friday, October 27. Some riders got into the Hallowe’en spirit by wearing spooky costumes and, in some cases, even getting their ponies decorated for the occasion!

Raymond Caldwell’s challenging courses resulted in terrific jump-offs, with the 75cm Open class being the most hotly contested! 12 combinations took on the challenge and Nakita Thompson riding her lovely pony, ‘Tornado’, claimed the first place rosette.

The last five-week Show jumping League for 2023 will commence on Friday, November 10, starting at 6.15pm, with a 40cm class, followed by 50cm, 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm and 1m classes.
