Super day of show jumping at Lusk's

Competitors enjoy classes from 40cm up to 1.10m at Carr venue

Week two of the Show jumping series at Lusk’s, kindly sponsored by Greenvale Electric, saw another super day of jumping, with an increase in entries this week.

The first class at 40cm is run especially for beginners, including some parents who assisted their kids, and everyone came in to get a well done rosette from Sarah.

Class 2, the 60cm, was much more competitive, with Farah Davidson and ‘Rummy’ beating the week one winners, Ula McCaffrey and ‘Echo’ into second place. Emma Jackson was active throughout the day, even bringing her daughter Katy for a ride around on her smart roan pony.

Ella Morrison rode determinedly in the 80cm class to pip Jane Bruce on ‘Minnie the Minx’. Lesley Jones was evident throughout the day, with some nice young horses jumping well and securing prizes without going all out against the clock.

Aimee Webb with ‘Nala’ continued her good form from last week, winning back to back in the 1.10m class, this week pushing the on-form Rory Lavery into second place with ‘Lola’.
